Open the front door and instantly be wowed by the 20 feet vaulted ceiling with the living space on full display through an expanse of windows on 3-sides in the living and dining rooms overlooking serene Gruene Lake and A-frame cabins!

Refreshing open-concept includes a united living area, dining room and kitchen with an abundance of space and natural light. 30+ acres of hill country land allows for evening and weekend tranquility as we're the first few homeowners in the community.

THE AMENITIES

The cabin is newly-built, designed with upgraded finishes and modern stainless steel appliances. It is furnished with brand new MCM-style furniture and provides all of the top comforts that you would expect from a top-rated host. The house can sleep up to 10. One king Tempur-pedic bed (2), one queen Tempur-pedic bed (2), twin triple bunk beds (3), a twin daybed w/ trundle (2) and a one-person futon in the living room. Max weight between 200-250 lbs per twin bed. Plus, a pack-n-play for your little one! Comfortable memory foam mattresses were selected med-firm based on popular demand. Within the house, you should expect to find:

- Office desk with chair in the master bedroom.

- Dining table with seating for 8.

- 4 stools at the kitchen peninsula to converse with your favorite chef.

- Whole house filtration system.

- Enjoy your complimentary coffee with our 12-cup coffee maker or Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother. Ground coffee, filters, original espresso pods, creamer, cane sugar, syrup, tea, chocolate packets are provided during your stay. Bring your favorite milk and syrup if you prefer.

- Our tea kettle and teapot will deliver your refreshing afternoon teas.

- Fully equipped and abundantly stocked kitchen. Toaster, blender, rice cooker, air fryer, roaster, you name it! Ask us if you need something specific.

- Dinnerware/silverware for 10+ people.

- 65" smart TV with wifi internet. Sign-on to your own streaming account.

- In-unit washer and dryer with detergent available for your use.

- Standing mirror for the last minute check before heading out for the night!

BUGS AND WILDLIFE

Our place is located in a hot and humid environment immersed with wildlife, including the creepy crawly kind. Depending on the time of the year and weather conditions, guests may encounter mosquitoes, bees, gnats, moths, wasps, hornets, horse flies, lovebugs, ants, spiders, beetles, American cockroaches, ladybugs, stink bugs, centipedes, millipedes, scorpions, etc. Additionally, insects can make loud noises at night depending on their matching season. While we do utilize regular pest, snake and mosquito control services, we are unable to offer any guarantee against or refunds for the occasional bugs that may make it inside. We do our best to prevent infestations and guests can help by keeping doors closed and disposing of trash and storing food in a responsible manner.

Parking up to 5 vehicles is allowed on the backside of Cabin 38 and 39.

There is no lake access nor can a boat be permitted on the premises. Canyon Lake has several boating companies that offer rentals.

Our family has called Austin, TX, home for years, and we’ve always had a special connection with the Texas Hill Country. After countless adventures, we knew we wanted to create a serene modern escape here.

The Gruene Cabin 38 is our dream brought to life. We’ve poured love into every detail, from the peaceful outdoor spaces to the family-friendly amenities to make it a wonderful place for a family & friends getaway. The location is perfect to enjoy a slice of the Texas Hill Country while being close to natural parks, river tubing adventures, historical Gruene district and family-friendly restaurants, and more.
